CAS-TWAS Centres of Excellence
Five centres of excellence organized by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) offer a remarkable opportunity for researchers from the developing world to study, train and work in top Beijing-based laboratories.

Each of the five centres is based at existing institutes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences [1] in Beijing.

The CAS-TWAS Centre of Excellence for Green Technology [3] (CEGT)
is based at the CAS Institute of Process Engineering.

[4]The CAS-TWAS Centre of Excellence for Biotechnology [4] (CoEBio)
is based at the CAS Institute of Microbiology.

is hosted by the CAS Institute of Atmospheric Physics.

is hosted by the CAS Research Centre for Eco-Environmental Sciences.
