The Academy has officially added its 2024 class of Fellows to the TWAS Directory. The 47 new Fellows live and work in 21 different countries. Nineteen are women, and five are from science- and technology-lagging countries identified by TWAS.
TWAS Fellows represent the apex of scientific achievement in their respective fields, and contribute to the collective expertise of the Academy. They play a crucial role in shaping the future of scientific research and innovation in the developing world. The TWAS Online Directory provides profiles of over 1,410 elected lifetime Fellows and 419 Young Affiliates and Alumni, early-career scientists who are given five-year terms in the Academy because of their exceptional scientific promise.
