Ambati Ranga Rao

I, Ambati Ranga Rao, obtained a Ph.D in Biotechnology from CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), University of Mysore, Mysore, Karnataka, India, under the Guidance of Dr. G. A. Ravishankar, Former Director Grade Scientist & Head, Plant Cell Biotechnology, CSIR-CFTRI. I graduated with a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh, India. I have been focusing on the research areas of Algal Biotechnology, Plant Secondary Metabolites, Food Science and Biotechnology, and Nutraceuticals. I have published more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, including patents, research articles, reviews, edited books, and book chapters. My research citations exceed 8000 with an H-index (32) and i10-index (73) in Google Scholar. I have delivered lectures as an invited speaker at international/national conferences.
