Biodata: 
Hanae El Monfalouti is an Assistant Professor at the Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco. In 2013 she obtained a PhD in Phytochemistry, Therapeutic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry, under a joint agreement between the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, France, and the Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco. Her main research interest covers phytochemistry and therapeutic chemistry. She participated in several research projects of enhancement of natural products and sustainable development of argan trees and endemic medicinal plants. She worked with multidisciplinary research teams from Morocco, France, Italy and Germany. She has published several articles in scientific journals and presented her work at conferences in international scientific congresses. She received the Young Researcher Award at the International Argan Congress in Agadir, Morocco (2013). From 2013–2019, she worked with the Federation of Moroccan Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Services Rabat, where she also served as the Head of the Department of International Relationships (2017–2019). She is a founding member and Secretary-General of the Moroccan Association of Scientists and Young Researchers.
