Hassan Shokry Hassan Ahmed is an associate professor in the Environmental Engineering Department, Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, Alexandria, Egypt. His interests cover nanotechnology, sensors applications, design of environmental controlling systems.
He started his career working first as an assistant researcher, assistant professor then as an associate professor (2004 - 2019) in the Electronic Materials Researches Department, City of Scientific Research and Technological Applications, Alexandria, Egypt.
Ahmed is the recipient of numerous awards: the ALECSO award for young researchers in the Arab World (field nanotechnology), in 2015; the State Encouragement Award in the field of Basic Sciences (field physical science), in 2017. He is serving as a member in the National Committee for New Materials Technology (2018-2021), and is a referee in many scientific journals.
