TWAS and ICIPE sign collaboration agreements

The International Centre for Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE), Kenya, has joined two of TWAS's South-South collaboration programmes.

TWAS and ICIPE sign collaboration agreementsBased in Nairobi, Kenya, the International Centre for Insect Physiology and Ecology (ICIPE), is the first African institution to join the TWAS South-South Fellowships programme.

Under the new agreement, ICIPE has agreed to host a number of postgraduate, postdoctoral and visiting scientist fellowships each year. ICIPE also joined the TWAS-UNESCO Associate scheme, which allows researchers from developing countries to visit the institution twice in a three-year period.
