Dr. Alzoubi is a very productive young Scientist. He has published over 250 publications in distinguished international, scientific, peer-reviewed, indexed and refereed journals or international conferences. Dr. Alzoubi has done so in a relatively short period (about 14 years since he published for the first time). Additionally, most of the scientific production of Dr. alzoubi is in journals with high impact factor relative its area of specialization as per the ISI Web Knowledge and scopus databases. The scientific work of Dr. alzoubi has been highly cited (over 2200 times; Scopus, 2018), and he has an h-index of 29 (Scopus, 2017), which is the highest among researchers in Jordan and among the highest in his region of the world in the fields of pharmacy/pharmacology. Khanfar has been Professor in Depart. of Chem. at the UJ; since 2018. He has earned a BSc in chemistry at Mutah Univ., Jordan, in 1992; a MSc in chemistry at the UJ in 1995; and a PhD in chemistry at Tübingen University, Germany, in 2001. Khanfar has contributed to the development of several academic interactive teaching courses both at the UJ and at the Hashemite University in Jordan and has been involved in the translation of a textbook. He is now the Head of Chem. Depart. at the Univ. of Sharjah, UAE, since Sep. 2021. His main contribution is structural chemistry using X-ray crystallography of small molecules. Khanfar has been cooperating with other scientists and contributed to some conferences. In parallel, spending one or two semester(s) at other universities for teaching-experience exchange with other scientist members. Several proposals were approved from international funding institutes which also develop the collaboration with international scientist, specifically in Germany and Canada. Transferring European knowledge is one of the most important benefits. In addition, cooperation is established with some local pharmaceutical companies.
