Ezzinbi is a Moroccan scholar whose research focuses on differential equations and dynamical systems. He works in the laboratory of mathematics and population dynamics of the Faculty of Sciences Semlalia, Cadi Ayyad University, Marrakech, Morocco. He earned his PhD in partial functional differential equations in 1997, at Cadi Ayyad University. His current areas of interest cover differential equations, dynamical systems, evolution equations, partial functional differential equations, operator theory, and control theory. His works have inspired many researchers and influenced many publications worldwide. Ezzinbi wrote more than 250 papers that were published in well-established journals, two books and several chapters. He has been a visiting professor at numerous universities in Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. He is leading several groups at many universities in Africa. He has supervised more than 40 PhD students, many of them in countries including Algeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, China, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, Tchad, and Tunisia. He has been elected a member of the African Academy of Sciences in 2009.
