Jamel JEBALI is an Associate Professor of Biochemistry, at the Higher Institute of Biotechnology of Monastir , University of Monastir , Tunisia . He is taught several Biochemical courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has supervised and mentored several masters and PhD students. His current research interests include the assessment of the biochemical and physiological effects of pharmaceutical compounds in marine organisms; and the investigation of the potential utility of medicinal plant extracts in the Management of Sustainable Aquaculture. He has participated in some funded projects such as Tunisian-Spanish, Tunisian-Moroccan and Tunisian-Portuguese projects. He has also collaborated with some researchers within and outside his institution from Tunisia, Spain, Morocco, and France.

Ahmed A. Al-Amiery earned his Bachelor's degree in general chemistry (1998) at Al-Mustansiriya University, Iraq. Then he obtained his Master's degree in organic chemistry (2001) from the University of Baghdad, and his PhD (2007) in organic chemistry from Al-Mustansiriya University. At present, he teaches basic organic chemistry and industrial chemistry at the University of Technology. His scientific interests focus mainly on the synthesis of novel applicable molecules. Plants play an important role in his research, as they are the source of chemical compounds that Al-Amiery extracts and analyzes, in order to identify active principles of pharmacological interest. He has authored more than 150 scientific papers and sits in several commissions at the University of Technology. He is also Editor in Chief for 2 journals and editor in many international journals. Al-Almieri is the owner of 15 international patents on substances that inhibit corrosion, and has published 14 books.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed F. R. Hassanien is currently working as a Professor of Biochemistry at Zagazig University (Egypt). Prof. Hassanien obtained his Ph.D. (Dr.rer.nat.) in Food Chemistry from Berlin University of Technology (Germany, 2004). As post-doctoral researcher, Prof. Hassanien continued his research in ranked universities in different countries such University of Helsinki (Finland), Max-Rubner Institute (Germany), Berlin University of Technology (Germany), and University of Maryland (USA). In 2010, he was invited to be visiting Professor (100% research) at King Saud University in Saudi Arabia. In 2012, he was invited to be visiting Professor (100% teaching) in School of Biomedicine, Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok, Russian Federation. Prof. Hassanien published more than 250 papers, reviews in international peer-reviewed journals with high impact factor as well as several books and book chapters (recent h-index is 40). He was participated and invited speaker in several international conferences. Since 2003, Prof. Hassanien is a reviewer and editor in many highly-cited international journals.

Dr. Alzoubi is a very productive young Scientist. He has published over 250 publications in distinguished international, scientific, peer-reviewed, indexed and refereed journals or international conferences. Dr. Alzoubi has done so in a relatively short period (about 14 years since he published for the first time). Additionally, most of the scientific production of Dr. alzoubi is in journals with high impact factor relative its area of specialization as per the ISI Web Knowledge and scopus databases. The scientific work of Dr. alzoubi has been highly cited (over 2200 times; Scopus, 2018), and he has an h-index of 29 (Scopus, 2017), which is the highest among researchers in Jordan and among the highest in his region of the world in the fields of pharmacy/pharmacology. Dr. Alzoubi won the following awards: Khalifah Award for Education, UAE (2014). Young Affiliate in Medical Sciences, TWAS, Italy (2014-2018) Distinguished Researcher Award, Ministry of Higher Education, Jordan (2013) Ali Mango Award for Distinguished Researcher in Medical Sciences (2013) Abdul Hameed Shoman Arab Investigator Award for Medical Sciences (2012) Hisham Hijjawi Award for best Applied Science (2008)

Dr. Muhammad Farooq is Professor of Plant Sciences at Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Oman. He also holds the positions of Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Australia and Dankook University, South Korea. Dr. Farooq is the recipient of several fellowships and awards from Australia, Germany, Japan, Oman and Pakistan, and. He was named the ‘Highly Cited Researcher’ by the Clarivate/Web of Sciences for the years 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. His research has encompassed providing an understanding of the response of crops to abiotic stresses. He has developed seed enhancements for improving crop performance under less than optimum conditions and for the delivery of micronutrients. He devised technologies for the cost-effective biofortification of grain crops with zinc and iron. He is among the pioneers to develop non-chemical weed control, through allelopathy, in field crops. He optimized, developed and popularized conservation agricultural systems In Pakistan and Oman.

Khanfar has been Professor in Depart. of Chem. at the UJ; since 2018. He has earned a BSc in chemistry at Mutah Univ., Jordan, in 1992; a MSc in chemistry at the UJ in 1995; and a PhD in chemistry at Tübingen University, Germany, in 2001. Khanfar has contributed to the development of several academic interactive teaching courses both at the UJ and at the Hashemite University in Jordan and has been involved in the translation of a textbook. He is now the Head of Chem. Depart. at the Univ. of Sharjah, UAE, since Sep. 2021. His main contribution is structural chemistry using X-ray crystallography of small molecules. Khanfar has been cooperating with other scientists and contributed to some conferences. In parallel, spending one or two semester(s) at other universities for teaching-experience exchange with other scientist members. Several proposals were approved from international funding institutes which also develop the collaboration with international scientist, specifically in Germany and Canada. Transferring European knowledge is one of the most important benefits. In addition, cooperation is established with some local pharmaceutical companies.

Youcef Bentoutou is senior researcher at the Satellite Development Center of the Algerian Space Agency in Algeria. He obtained his bachelor, master, and doctorate degrees in electrical and electronics engineering at the University of Djillali Liabès in Sidi Bel Abbès. He also completed a training degree at the Surrey Space Centre, University of Surrey, United Kingdom, that was directed towards the development of the Alsat-1 disaster monitoring satellite. His research interests include digital signal processing, image processing, computer vision, image registration and satellite on board data handling. In recognition of his accomplishments, he was the recipient of the first TWAS-AAS (African Academy of Sciences)-Microsoft Award for Young Scientists, an IEEE trainee grant, the prize for the best research paper awarded by the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and two recognition certificates from Djillali Liabès University. He is also president of the Scientific Committee for the Center of Space Techniques in Arzew, Algeria.
