Prof. Dr. Haikel Jelassi is a full professor of physics in the National Centre for Nuclear Sciences and Technologies (CNSTN) in Tunisia. After obtaining the BSc degree in physics in Tunis, he obtained his master diploma in atomic physics and lasers in 2003, and then his PhD in 2007 from the University Of Paris XI. He obtained its supervising diploma from the University of Tunis El Manar, in 2014. In 2015, he became an associate professor in nuclear and atomic physics. Jelassi is interested in many research fields in fundamental as well in applied physics. He's interested also in the research reactors and plasma Tokomak reactors. He has authored more than 50 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, as well as one patent. He has supervised two PhD students and four undergraduate students. He is also active through the Tunisian Physical Society, where he acts as a member of the national board. He organized several conferences and workshops probing several scoop for the North African and Arab regions. Prof Jelassi is a member of four editorial boards of two journals of physics. He's regularly invited to review papers for publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Yasser M. Sabry received the B.Sc. and the M.Sc. from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 2005 and 2009, respectively. During his M.Sc. he was working on modeling and characterization of micro and nano scale devices. He obtained his Ph.D. from Université Paris-Est, ESIEE Paris, France in 2013. During his Ph.D. he gained the knowledge of modeling, design, fabrication and characterization of optical MEMS and microoptical components. Dr. Yasser was a key player in developing the Silicon integrated Micro Optical System SiMOSTTM technology and the development of NeoSpectraTM, the world’s smallest FTIR spectrometer. Following his Ph.D., he worked on an optoelectronic and optical fiber sensing system, where the optical MEMS and the fiber technology could be mixed to achieve innovative and low cost solutions. His industrial experience includes working with Mentor Graphics Inc, Information and Technology Development Agency and Si-Ware Systems. Dr. Yasser is an Assistant Professor in the Electronics and Comm. Engineering Dept., Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University. He is a member in the Autotronics group in the same Faculty.
