Chakravorty got his MSc (Tech) at Calcutta University and PhD (1965) from Penn State University USA. He was also Professor and Head, Advanced Centre for Materials Science, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur during 1976-1982 His research contributions include a wide range of nanocomposites and their electrical,magnetic, magnetodielectric and multiferroic properties. He is a Fellow of Indian National Science Academy and the Indian Academy of Sciences, and has won the MRSI Medal, MRSI ICSC Prize,INSA Prize for Materials Science, Nano Science and Technology Award of DST, New Delhi and Materials Scientist of the Year Award of MRSI 2014.

C.Siva Ram Murthy earned his B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from REC (now NIT) Warangal in 1982, M.Tech. degree in Computer Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur in 1984 and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from IISc, Bangalore in 1988. Since September 1988, he has been with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Madras where he is currently the Richard Karp Institute Chair Professor. He has held the INAE Chair Professorship and also short-term visiting appointments at several European and North American universities. He has authored many textbooks, and published research papers over 175 in peer-reviewed international journals and over 175 in refereed international conference proceedings. He is a recipient of Best Ph.D. Thesis Award from IISc, INSA Medal for Young Scientists, Dr. Vikram Sarabhai Research Award, IBM (USA) Real-Time Innovation Award, JC Bose Fellowship and several Best Paper Awards. He is an elected Fellow of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE, USA), TWAS - Italy, Indian National Science Academy (INSA), National Academy of Sciences (NASI), and Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE).

Chen is an expert in control theory at the Institute of Systems Science, AMSS, of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in Beijing. His research interests are mainly in stochastic systems, including system identification, adaptive control, and stochastic approximation and its applications to systems, control, and signal processing. In addition to his research, he is also active in writing educative reviews and monographs. He has authored/co-authored more than 200 journal papers and the following four monographs: Recursive Identification and Parameter Estimation, Stochastic Approximation and its Applications, Identification and Stochastic Adaptive Control, and Recursive Estimation and Control for Stochastic Systems. Dezotti (DSc, 1992, University of Campinas, Brazil) is Professor at COPPE, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She received more than 30 awards, among which the COPPE Giulio Massarani Award - Academic Merit by COPPE/UFRJ (2010), in recognition of her scientific production of the highest level. She was awarded four times as Scientist of Our State from the Amparo Research Foundation of State of Rio de Janeiro (FAPERJ), Brazil. For the consolidation of the national research in Advanced Oxidation Processes (POAs), she received a tribute of the VIII Meeting on Oxidative Processes and II Iberoamerican Conference on POA (2015). Deen is a Distinguished University Professor, Senior Canada Research Chair in Information Technology and Director of the Micro- and Nano-Systems Laboratory at McMaster University, Canada. His current research interests include nano-/opto-electronics, nanotechnology and data analytics and their emerging applications in health and environment. Djeffal is professor, University of Batna-2, Batna, Algeria. His contributions to materials science, solid-state devices and artificial intelligence (AI) have gained substantial research acclaim in the field of electronic device modeling and fabrication, specifically in the area of development of new high-performance and low cost microelectronic devices for renewable energy and environmental sensing applications, as evidenced by the number of citations for his published papers in a short span of time. In the context of microelectronic devices for renewable energy and environmental sensing applications, Djeffal has successfully developed new approaches and design techniques of microelectronic devices using soft-computing and AI-based methods. These approaches are now widely used by several scientific centers. He has published more than 280 journal articles and conference papers and is the author of some books and book-chapters in the field of photovoltaic devices/environmental sensors and soft-computing. Fotuhi-Firuzabad obtained his BSc and MSc degrees in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology and Tehran University in 1986 and 1989 respectively, and MSc and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1993 and 1997 respectively. He is a professor of electrical engineering at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. His research interests include power system reliability, distributed renewable generation, demand response and smart grids. His scientific activities include more than 650 papers, and supervising more than 100 master's and doctoral theses. He is the recipient of several national and international awards including: World Intellectual Property Organization Award for the Outstanding Inventor (2003), and Probabilistic Methods Applied to Power Systems (PMAPS) International Society Merit Award in 2016. Fotuhi-Firuzabad is a visiting professor at Aalto University, Finland. He served as the editor-in-chief of IEEE Power Engineering Letters from 2017 to 2022. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) (2014) and Associate Fellow of the Iran National Academy of Sciences.

Hussain is professor in the electrical engineering department at Kuwait University in Safat, Kuwait. He has done significant work in advancing the emerging technology, utrawide band impulse radar and radio communications, through basic design principles, and array beam forming and self-steering array antenna systems. In addition, he has also provided solutions to modified Maxwell equations for signals. Jagadish is a Distinguished Professor and the Head of the Semiconductor Optoelectronics and Nanotechnology Group at the Australian National University.
