Sukumar (PhD, 1985) is professor of ecology, Indian Institute of Science. His work originally focused on the behaviour and conservation biology of elephants, expanding later to tropical forest ecology and climate change. Sukumar is Fellow of: Indian Acad. of Sciences; Indian Natl. Science Academy; Natl. Acad. Sci. India. He has held visiting positions at Princeton Univ., Columbia Univ. and Kyoto Univ. He has contributed extensively to Indian government policy on nature conservation, and has been a member of the Indian Board for Wildlife and the Project Elephant Steering Committee. He was Chair, IUCN/SSC Asian Elephant Specialist Group (1997-2004). He is the author of four books and over 200 scientific papers, and the recipient of several awards, including: Presidential Award, Chicago Zoological Soc. (1992); Order of the Golden Ark (1997); Whitley Gold Award for Internatl. Nature Conservation (2003); Internatl. Cosmos Prize (2006); JC Bose Natl. Fellowship (2011). He contributed to the work of the Intergov. Panel on Climate Change that shared the Nobel Peace Prize (2007).

Tian is prof. at East China U. of Science and Tech., Shanghai. In 1999, he was appointed Cheung Kong Dist. Prof. by the Education Ministry of China. His current research interests include the syntheses of novel functional organic dyes for solar cells and chemosensors as well as development of interdisciplinary materials science that determines the electronic and optical properties of materials. Tian has already published over 500 papers in international journals and applied 90 Chinese patents. ISI Web of Science shows that his publications have been cited over 50,000 times (data by Nov. 28, 2022) and his h-index = 118 (data by Nov. 28, 2022). Now Tian is associate Editor of ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces and Science China Chemistry as well as Intl. Advisory Board Member for Chemical Science, Advanced Optical Materials and Chem. Asia J. etc. He was selected as a member of the Chinese Acad. of Science (2011) and a Fellow of TWAS (2013). Prof. Tian serves as Vice-President of Chinese Chemical Society since 2019.

Agrawal is Professor in Computer Science department at IIT Kanpur. He obtained his PhD in 1991 from the same department, spent a few years in Chennai Mathematical Institute before joining IIT Kanpur in 1996. His awards include Clay Prize, Godel Prize, Fulkerson Prize, Bhatnagar Prize, TWAS Prize, ICTP Prize, Infosys Prize, and Humboldt Award. He is a member of all three science academies and engineering academy in India as well as Foreign Associate of US National Academy of Sciences.

Banerjee is Professor at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata. He obtained his BE in 1981 from the Bengal Engineering College (Calcutta University), the M.Tech. in 1983 from the IIT Delhi, and PhD in 1988 from the IIT Delhi. He was in the faculty of the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur from 1986 to 2009. Bhattacharya is professor, Dept. of Organic Chemistry, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India. He received his PhD at Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA, in bioorganic chemistry, focusing on kinetic differentiation of bilayer surfaces in synthetic functional vesicles. He then worked as NIH postdoctoral fellow at MIT, in the laboratory of Nobel laureate H. Gobind Khorana, focusing on the biology and chemistry of signal transduction involving membrane proteins. He subsequently moved to IISc Bangalore where he ultimately became full professor. He is a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Sciences (INSA) and the Indian Academy of Sciences. He has won the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award in Chemical Sciences from the Prime Minister of India, the TWAS Prize in Chemical Sciences in 2010, AV Rama Rao Endowment Lecture 2010, a J C Bose fellowship and the GD Birla Award.

Fu (PhD, 1989, in physical geography, Peking University) is professor at the Research Centre for Eco-Environmental Sciences (RCEES) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Beijing, China. GUO Huadong is a Professor of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, an Academician of CAS, a Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a Foreign Member of the Finnish Society of Sciences and Letters, and a Fellow of TWAS. Gupta is a Professor of Geology at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Prof. Osumi graduated Tokyo Medical and Dental University, was given PhD thesis from the same university, and now is a professor of Tohoku University School of Medicine since 1998. Padmanabhan, Distinguished Professor at IUCAA, Pune, has authored about 270 research papers and eleven books including eight graduate-level textbooks published by Cambridge University Press. Sampathkumaran was a Distinguised Professor in Natural Sciences Faculty at TIFR, Mumbai, and was also a Honorary Professor, JNCASR, Bangalore and Emeritus Professor at UGCDAE-CSR. After obtaining his Ph.D in 1982 at TIFR, he carried out his post-doctoral research at Free University of Berlin at the invitation of Humboldt Foundation. At early stages of his career after Ph.D, he received INSA medal for Young Scientists and was also an Associate of Indian Academy of Sciences. His prizes include Materials Research Society of India Award, Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize, and JC Bose Fellowship. He is an elected Fellow of all science academies in India (Indian Academy of Sciences, The National Academy of Sciences, and Indian National Science Academy) as well as an elected Member of Asia-Pacific Academy of Materials. His membership in the Editorial Board of journals include Solid State Communications, JMMM and Pramana. He was a JC Bose Fellow and is a DAE Raja Ramanna Fellow.

Professor Tawfik is founding director of the Egyptian Center for Theoretical Physics (ECTP), founding director of the World Laboratory for Cosmology And Particle Physics (WLCAPP), and research director at "ICSC-World Laboratory" in Erice, Italy. Professor Tawfik is serving in several committees and panels for education, scientific research, and development. In 1999, He has earned Dr.rer.Nat at Philipps Universität Marburg, and in 2012 Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in “physics and mathematics” at Uzbekistan National University. Teixeira (MD) is full professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Immunology at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). He obtained his PhD in 1994 at the National Heart and Lung Institute, University of London. He was president of the Brazilian Society of Pharmacology (SBFTE, 2011-2014), Brazilian Society of Inflammation (SBIN, 2018-2020), Member of the Brazilian Academy of Science (currently vice-President responsible for Regions Minas Gerais and Center-west) and Commander of the National Order of Scientific Merit. He is currently Vice President of the International Association of Inflammation Societies (IAIS, 2023-). Teixeira demonstrated the crucial role of the microbiota and microbial-derived products in controlling inflammatory and behavioural responses, and the relevance of inflammation in mediating tissue damage and lethality during infectious diseases, especially arboviral infections. This knowledge has led to mechanistic molecular studies which have led to new targets for anti-inflammatory drug development. Special focus is given to molecules which bind and block the function of 7-TM chemotactic receptors and induce the resolution of inflammation.
